However, reports also suggest that the actual number of alien worlds could be significantly higher, with some estimates ranging from 10,000 to 100,000 or more. Scientists continue to explore and identify new exoplanet candidates, including some that resemble earth and others with unique characteristics, such as orbiting two suns.
