A US C-17 has completed the first airlift of a nuclear microreactor. The transport is reported to be part of a historic first for the US Air Force, with the reactor possibly being delivered to Utah. The microreactor is also mentioned in relation to a pilot program under which another reactor, the Ward 250, has gone critical.
