Jammu, July 17: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National Secretary General Tarun Chugh, who is also the party’s representative in Jammu and Kashmir, today appealed to the people of the Union Territory to completely exclude the Abdullah, Mufti and Gandhi-Nehru families from Jammu and Kashmir politics.
Addressing a gathering here, Chugh said the three families have completely destroyed the culture and economy of Jammu and Kashmir to further their vested interests. They have turned Jammu and Kashmir into a terrorist capital in the country with the active support of cross-border forces. While the Abdullah family praises Pakistan almost every other day, Mufti too frequently champions the Pakistani cause instead of talking about the growth and development of Jammu and Kashmir.
In the coming elections, all three political parties that have been damaging and exploiting the people’s assets for the Pakistan Army for so many years must be expelled and removed from Jammu and Kashmir politics.
Chugh said the Modi government has given a new vision to the youth and women of Jammu and Kashmir and they now want to work for their own development and realisation of their dreams.
He said the culture of Jammu and Kashmir has undergone a major transformation under the Modi government, from terrorism to tourism. “Pakistan-backed forces are still trying to disturb peace in Jammu and Kashmir, but they will now be dealt with sternly and their evil designs will be decisively defeated,” he added.
