India's Index of Industrial Production (IIP) grew 7.3% in June 2026, a 23-month high. The pickup was driven by strong performances in the manufacturing, electricity, capital goods and consumer-facing sectors. The IIP measures the volume of industrial output and is released by the National Statistical Office.
