Meta Platforms CEO Mark Zuckerberg said the immediate reaction after former President Trump was shot was “amazing” and moving, helping to explain the platform’s appeal to voters.

Meta Platforms CEO Mark Zuckerberg has refused to endorse either Donald Trump or Joe Biden and said the company has no plans to get involved in the upcoming US presidential election in any way, Bloomberg News reported on Friday.

In an interview with the magazine on Thursday, the tech executive said former President Trump’s immediate reaction after the shooting was “incredible” and moving, helping to explain his appeal to voters.

Zuckerberg’s comments came as several Silicon Valley leaders, including Tesla CEO Elon Musk, have endorsed Trump for the presidential election.

Mehta and Zuckerberg did not immediately respond to Reuters requests for comment.
