Centre extends PM-Kisan for four more years, allocates ₹3.15 lakh crore
The Centre extended the PM-Kisan scheme for four more years with an allocation of ₹3.15 lakh crore. The Government said that since the scheme was launched in February 2019, more than ₹4.47 lakh crore has been transferred directly into farmers’ bank accounts through 23 instalments, making it one of the largest direct income-support programmes for farmers.
