The Centre extended the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme for four more years with an allocation of ₹3.15 lakh crore. The Government said more than ₹4.47 lakh crore has already been transferred directly into farmers’ bank accounts through 23 instalments since the income-support scheme was launched in February 2019.
