Centre extends PM-Kisan for four more years with ₹3.15 lakh crore outlay
The Union Government has extended the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi income-support scheme for four more years, sanctioning an outlay of ₹3.15 lakh crore. The Centre said it has already transferred more than ₹4.47 lakh crore directly into farmers' bank accounts across 23 instalments since the scheme was launched in February 2019, sustaining direct benefit transfer to eligible landholding farmer families.
