The Election Commission’s Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls has reshaped voter lists nationwide. Since the exercise began in June 2025, more than 13 crore ineligible and bogus voters have been removed from the draft rolls of 30 states and union territories. Delhi saw the sharpest fall — a 32.8% drop, from 1.45 crore voters to 97.53 lakh.
