India's services sector kept expanding in August 2026, with the seasonally adjusted HSBC India Services PMI Business Activity Index rising to 54.1 from 53.3 in July, as demand conditions stayed supportive and new business inflows continued to rise. Even so, the pace of growth cooled to its slowest in over four years.
