Modi meets African Union Chair; India–Africa summit discussed
Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a bilateral meeting with the Chairperson of the African Union and President of Burundi, Evariste Ndayishimiye, on the sidelines of the 18th BRICS Summit in New Delhi. They recalled India's role in getting the African Union admitted to the G20 during its 2023 presidency and discussed the early convening of the fourth India–Africa Forum Summit (IAFS-IV).
