Govt expects EU FTA, India-Canada trade talks to close by year-end
The government said it expects the European Union to sign a Free Trade Agreement with India and the India-Canada trade negotiations to be completed by the end of 2026. Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal is also set to travel to the United States at the end of September for a likely bilateral meeting on trade issues, including the much-delayed interim trade agreement announced in February.
