Western Ghats ESA: Keralam submits recommendations to Centre, seeks limiting area to 8,590 sq km

The Kerala government has submitted its recommendations to the Centre on the Western Ghats Ecologically Sensitive Area (ESA), seeking to limit the ESA within the state to 8,590 sq km. Environment Minister Sunny Joseph said Kerala will move a resolution on the ESA issue when the State Assembly next convenes.
