Centre extends PM-Kisan for four more years, allocates ₹3.15 lakh crore
The Centre extended the PM-Kisan (Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi) scheme for four more years with an allocation of ₹3.15 lakh crore. Launched in February 2019, the scheme has already transferred more than ₹4.47 lakh crore directly into farmers’ bank accounts across 23 instalments. The extension continues direct income support to eligible landholding farmers.
