Collateral-free working capital loans of ₹15,000, ₹25,000 and ₹50,000 in three steps for street vendors, with a 7% interest subsidy, cashback for digital payments and a UPI-linked credit card. Restructured in August 2025; lending runs until 31 March 2030.

What you get
- Collateral-free working capital loans in three tranches: ₹15,000, then ₹25,000, then ₹50,000 (first two amounts raised from ₹10,000 and ₹20,000 in the August 2025 restructuring).
- Each next, larger loan becomes available after repaying the previous one.
- Interest subsidy of 7% a year for timely or early repayment.
- UPI-linked RuPay credit card with a limit of up to ₹30,000 after repaying the second loan.
- Cashback of up to ₹1,600 for retail and wholesale digital transactions.
- Training in financial literacy, digital skills, and food safety and hygiene (with FSSAI).
- Family profiling under "SVANidhi se Samriddhi" to link the household with eight central welfare schemes.
Who can apply
- Street vendors: anyone selling goods or food, or offering services (e.g. barber, cobbler, laundry), on a street, footpath or pavement, from a temporary structure or by moving from place to place.
- Must hold a valid Letter of Recommendation (LoR) or Certificate of Vending (CoV).
- For urban street vendors; coverage is being extended to census towns, urban agglomerations and peri-urban areas in a phased way.

How to apply
- Apply on the PM SVANidhi portal or mobile app, or get help from your Urban Local Body (municipality).
- States and Urban Local Bodies identify eligible street vendors and help with new applications.
- Approval takes about 23 days on average, subject to verification.
