The Union government introduced a Bill in the Lok Sabha to impose stricter measures against examination paper leaks. The Bill provides for setting up fast-track courts in every State to ensure speedy trial of the accused and enhances the punishment prescribed for such offences. It was tabled during the ongoing Monsoon Session amid Opposition protests in the House.
